Target Goals:

1. All students will improve reading strategies in all curricular areas.
   To increase undertanding of text through development of sequencing skills and bulding vocabulary.
2. All students will demonstrate an improved ability in reading skills in all curricular areas.
   To increase student ability to write complete sentences that clearly organize the information and include relevant details.
   

Interventions

• Instructional Intervention –Goal 1
  Teachers will use a variety of strategies to develop sequencing skills and build vocabulary in all curricular areas
• Instructional Intervention-Goal 2
  Teachers will use a variety of strategies to develop student writing skills through students writing in complete sentences that clearly organize the information and include relevant details.
• Communication Intervention
  The school will develop and utilize various avenues to increase awareness of the School Improvement Plan efforts and progress to all the stakeholders.
• SHC Partnership Intervention
  The school will develop and utilize various avenues to bring parents and community into the students’ learning process.
• Technology Intervention
  The school will further develop ways to use technology in regular instruction to prepare students for the future.
